What is fragrance layering?
Fragrance layering means wearing two or more scents at once so they blend into something new on your skin. It has a long history in Arabian perfumery, where a perfume oil or attar is often worn under a spray, and it lets you push one perfume sweeter, fresher or smokier without buying a new bottle.
How do you layer Qadr step by step?
- Start with moisturized skin. An unscented lotion gives the fragrance something to hold on to.
- Apply the richer layer first. Dab a perfume oil, or spray the denser perfume, on your neck, wrists and chest.
- Wait about a minute. Let the first layer settle so the two do not smudge together.
- Spray Qadr on top. One or two sprays on the same points is enough, because Qadr is an extrait de parfum.

1. Qadr and Odyssey Dubai Chocolat

What should you not layer with Qadr?

How many sprays should you use when layering Qadr?
Keep the total to four or five sprays across both scents. A good starting point is two sprays of the base scent and one or two of Qadr. Perfume oils need only a dab or a single roll per spot. You can always add more, but it is hard to take a heavy layer back.
