Island Vanilla Dunes by Khadlaj is a warm, unisex vanilla extrait de parfum. Lavender, bergamot and cardamom open it, orange blossom, guaiac wood and dry amber form the heart, and vanilla, praline and amber make up the base. It carries the Island name, but it is a cold weather perfume rather than a tropical one.
How it wears
Lavender and cardamom give the opening a cool, spiced lift before the sweetness arrives. Orange blossom and guaiac wood add a softly floral, lightly smoky middle, and the praline and vanilla base is creamy and dessert-like. It is at its best in fall and winter, for evenings and dates. In summer heat, one spray is enough.
