Arabian Alternatives to Designer Perfumes in Canada: A to Z Guide

Sara Sakina carries Arabian perfumes that share published notes with many designer favourites, and our own four perfumes share notes with several of them. Fragrance communities often name Armaf Club de Nuit Intense Man for Creed Aventus, Lattafa Ana Abiyedh Rouge for Baccarat Rouge 540, Lattafa Asad for Dior Sauvage Elixir and Maison Alhambra Kismet Magic for Kilian Angels' Share. We carry all four and ship across Canada.

The designer brands named on this page and their perfume names are trademarks of their respective owners. Sara Sakina is not affiliated with, authorized by or endorsed by the designer brands named on this page. This page compares published fragrance notes. It does not claim that any perfume is identical to another.

How we compare

We start from each designer perfume's published note list, taken from the brand or from fragrance databases such as Fragrantica, and compare it with the published notes of the perfumes we carry. Where fragrance communities or reviewers often name an alternative, we say so. Where they do not, we pick by shared notes and say that instead. A few picks come from Sero, a perfume house in Toronto, and we say so where they appear. Shared notes do not mean two perfumes smell the same. Every perfume linked here was in stock when we last updated this guide in October 2026.

Questions about designer perfume alternatives

Are these perfumes dupes of the designer originals?

No. Each is a separate perfume from its own house that shares some published notes with a designer perfume. None is the designer perfume itself, and none is made or endorsed by the designer brands. Compare the notes, then try them before you buy.

Can I try these before buying?

Yes. Visit Sara Sakina at Oakville Place in Oakville, on the upper level across from Sephora, to try testers. A second boutique opens at Bramalea City Centre in Brampton in late October 2026. Our four house perfumes, Qadr, Amazight, Safi and Warda, each have a 5 ml tester you can order online.

Do you ship across Canada?

Yes. We ship from Ontario across Canada and to the United States. Check our shipping policy for rates.

How do you choose the picks?

We compare each designer perfume's published notes with the notes of the perfumes we carry. We say when fragrance communities or reviewers often name an alternative, and when a pick is based on shared notes only. We only link perfumes we carry, and we never claim that two perfumes smell the same.

Do you make your own perfumes?

Yes. Qadr, Amazight, Safi and Warda by Sara Sakina are our own 100 ml extraits de parfum, mixed by founder Aymane Zerzkhane. They are original compositions, and this guide notes where they share published notes with designer and niche perfumes.

The designer brands named on this page and their perfume names are trademarks of their respective owners.
