Lattafa Opulent Musk – Eau de Parfum 100ml

I received my order of Opulent Musk a day early, in perfect condition 😊. The packaging and the perfume bottle were gorgeous. It was a blind buy but came highly recommended by one of my favorite YT fragrance reviewers.When I unboxed and sprayed it, I was surprised by the prominent notes of fresh fir and cedarwood resins. It definitely was quite woody. Thankfully, I detected no gasoline-like smell. I didn’t instantly love it but I liked it a lot because it smelled fresh and invigorating while being different from what I usually like.My first impression was that of a somewhat sweet smelling fir Christmas tree. The scent was pretty intense, possibly because I am an oversprayer. I put it back in the box and let it rest a few days. Now every time I try it, I like it more and I only spray it a couple of times. It’s a definite “no no” for my work but a great fresh scent to enjoy at home and on my nature walks.I tried layering it with some jasmine attar to emphasize the floral and diminish the woody notes. It worked well all the way down to the dry down.I can see how this can be a “love it or hate it at first sniff” fragrance. If you buy it and dislike it, give it some time, let your olfactory sense develop appreciation for a wider range of fragrance compositions.I don’t recommend it as a safe blind buy because of its strong and unusual fragrance. Some will enjoy it and some will not. It would be best to get a small sample first and then make a decision. That being said, for the price, Opulent Musk is a great purchase, a very good and interesting perfume, and definitely worth a try.

Small so good I have bought this product twice. I buy it again

It's rough out of the gate. Let your nose get use to it and allow it to mellow a bit. However, it's an interesting scent that is formal but sexy. It has similarity to Sauvage and BR540. Not a dupe but if you like those, you might like this. I think it's more masculine because of the spice but my husband thinks it's more feminine due to the vanilla so I can see it as unisex.

It's smells so good. I got a lot of compliments. I got this 3rd time. ☺️

This is a sexy fresh vibe! I smell Light Leather, Sweet Citrus, and a Touch of Wood. The quality is good as it is by Lattafa. Wearability is unisex. The dry down is the same, but a hint of powder is then detected. This is an everyday, all year around, day, and night scent. Four hours have passed, and I can still smell it. Compliments keep coming. Not exactly like Baccarat Rouge 540 but with a twist and I am loving it!

Smells almost exactly, without the cost. It lasts on the area you perfumed, but projection is not as long.

The scent by itself is ok. It has good bones but it doesn't feel complete to me. I do prefer sweeter scents so I decided to pair this one with Gigglepuff and that is when the magic happened.As a layered scent this is on my regular rotation. By itself it would probably collect dust sitting on my shelf.

I’m a big fan of Lattafa perfumes and decided to do a blind buy with this one. Given the reasonable price, I figured I wouldn’t be too disappointed if I didn’t like it. Initially, I wasn’t a fan at all. I even tried layering it with another fragrance to improve the scent, but that didn’t help. I ended up putting it on the shelf with no plans to wear it again. However, the bottle is undeniably beautiful. After letting it sit for about a month, I randomly sprayed it into the air one day and was shocked by how amazing it smelled. The scent kept catching my attention, and I found myself liking it more and more. It’s also very long-lasting—I sprayed it on before bed one night and could still smell it the next morning until I showered. Buy it, I think you'll like it.

Great packaging, beautiful bottle and honestly enjoyable presentation in general, a great cap and a good design bottle to prevent any leaks when you spray the fragrance it honestly smells like pure chemicals for the first 5 to 10 seconds although it seems to go away after that, there’s still a small hint of it and will hinder the way you smell it. It’s definitely a nice sweet fragrance, but too artificial and two chemical.I would recommend 9 PM intensely with you or club de nuit if you’re looking for a good sweet winter scent.This this perfume also has a small scent of a sunscreen smell I would say if you’re gonna buy this, make sure to pair it with another fragrance or we’re not too much of it. Small spritz or projects well

It’s definite a unique take on BR540 with a citrus note to it. It has the BR540 DNA where u smell that slightly sweet musky powdery-ness that it has in the dry down. It has a alchohol scent first spray but goes away after a minute. I don’t smell gasoline like what others are talking about .it has a very faint leathery note in the dry down .If you’re not into leather smells u might think of it as gasoline. For the price this it good and the scent is of niche quality. U won’t smell it much on your skin after a while but people can smell it on u especially if u walk by them.

I saw this on a page and it had rave reviews but you know how some over indulge about a product as one may or may not be a paid spokesperson to sell a product! I went to the site to maybe get more insight about this product in the form of reviews from some who purchased this item.When I went to the reviews, it had so many positive feedback back and I thought to myself ok I am in made the purchased and let me tell you it came before expected the product was packed nice and UPS delivered and placed it in my door.I got the package opened it and the first thing I noticed was the feel of the box that felt like some expensive velvet type fabric and I was thinking to myself this is something right here I took the fragrance out the box but before I took it out the box I could smell the product, and when I tell you when I sprayed this it's like a beautiful burst of fresh soft scent I fell in likeness of this product. It goes on light and smooth and it last for a long time.Would I order this item again you bet I would? I am now a fan of this company and want to try all what they have to offer. If you don't believe me order this product and you would be happy that you did.

Bearing in mind that body chemistry has a lot to do with how a fragrance smells on every individual, Opulent Musk (white bottle) smells exactly like Oud Mood- the original Lattafa fragrance, not the two Oud Mood spinoffs in their line (I have no idea how those two smell). This is NOT a bad thing, as Oud Mood is in heavy rotation in my collection already. I just don't need two identical fragrances. Now, what does this mean for the fragrance notes as described in the product listing? Well... I bought this one hoping for the resins and the woods to be distinct and noticeable, and they aren't. While Opulent Musk is different enough from Shaghaf Oud (Swiss Arabian, one of my favorites) to have both in your collection, it is still very gourmand. I'm getting a nice oud-y backdrop with warm, caramelly vibes and a saffron note wafting around on top. Delicious, for sure. But not white musk, white flowers, woods, or resin. At least not on me. So I'm disappointed, not because it's a bad fragrance but because it's not what I thought I was buying.

I hear a lot of people say they get a gasoline or alcohol smell, but not the case for me or for those who were in a sprays distance. Upon first spray the scent is a bit Fruity yet sophisticated. Not Gas like at all. It has a mushiness to it that is not to heavy even though the scent is strong. It is strong but smooth to the nose. When the perfume settles it dries down to a sweet musk that garners tins of compliments!! Love it will def but again.
