Ard Al Zaafaran Taj Al Malik Explained: The King Crown and Every Format (2026)

Sara Sakina

Taj Al Malik — The King Crown — is an aromatic fougère, and the interesting thing about it at our shop is that the eau de parfum and the supporting formats do not carry the same pyramid. The bottle is a clean nine-note bergamot-and-lavender composition; the oil, body spray and air freshener all carry longer versions with chili and cocoa in them. This guide sets out both, as recorded.

Taj Al Malik The King Crown — Eau de Parfum 100 ml

Profile: bergamot, cypress and lavender over geranium and juniper berries, on cedarwood, patchouli and vetiver. Amber Spicy. Presented for men, for evenings.
Verdict: nine notes and a textbook fougère shape — citrus and lavender up top, geranium in the heart, a dry woody-earthy base. Clean and classical, with nothing sweet in it anywhere. The most expensive item in the line. Currently out of stock. Taj Al Malik The King Crown Eau de Parfum →

The longer pyramids, in the other formats

The 12 ml concentrated perfume oil carries bergamot and juniper berry over chili, muscat, sage, lavender and geranium, on cedarwood, vetiver, patchouli and cocoa — eleven notes. The 300 ml air freshener carries the same shape with lemon and red orange added to the opening, making thirteen. The 200 ml body spray carries a close variant: juniper berries, Sicilian lemon and blood orange over chili, muscat, sage and lavender, on cedarwood, vetiver, cocoa and patchouli.

Chili and cocoa are the notes to pay attention to: they appear in every format except the eau de parfum, and they take the composition somewhere warmer and spicier than the bottle goes. If the spiced reading is what you want, the oil or the body spray is the one to buy, not the bottle. All three are currently out of stock. The King Crown Roll-On Perfume Oil 10 ml

A roll-on oil filed under Woody Spicy and presented for men. Our record carries no note pyramid for it, so none is printed here. It is the one piece in the line on our shelf as this is written, and one of the least expensive ways into the name. In stock. The King Crown Roll-On Perfume Oil →

Which Taj Al Malik should you buy?

Clean, classical, lavender and vetiver: the eau de parfum. Warmer, with chili and cocoa: the 12 ml oil or the body spray. Available today: the 10 ml roll-on, bearing in mind its notes are not recorded. The name is the same across all of them; the composition on file is not.

Availability and performance

The roll-on oil is the piece on the shelf as this is written; everything else is between deliveries. We publish the whole range so you can see what it covers and ask us to flag an item when it lands. No verified longevity or sillage figures are logged against any of these, so none are printed here.

Every note pyramid above is taken from the product record for the exact item we sell, along with its concentration, size and stated gender presentation. Where formats differ from the bottle, we have printed both rather than pretending they match.
