Arabiyat Prestige Marwa Review (2026): Notes & Performance

Sara Sakina

Arabiyat Prestige Marwa arrived in 2025 and quickly became one of the most talked-about releases from the My Perfumes Group's premium line. It is a bright, polished blend of citrus, ginger and black tea over a smooth amber base, and it is reasonably priced. In this review we cover the notes, how long it lasts, the best season to wear it and whether it is a safe blind buy.

Short answer: Marwa is a fresh, spicy citrus and black tea fragrance that wears well on anyone. It lasts around seven to nine hours on skin, and it is at its best from spring to early autumn.

Marwa Notes

  • Top: Calabrian bergamot, lemon and Sicilian orange
  • Heart: Nigerian ginger, Ceylon cinnamon and Tunisian neroli
  • Base: Chinese black tea, ambroxan, olibanum and guaiac wood

Marwa opens with a sparkling mix of bergamot, lemon and orange. The opening is juicy and clean rather than sharp, with an almost effervescent quality. The heart is where the character develops: ginger adds a fizzy, slightly spicy lift, cinnamon brings gentle warmth, and neroli keeps everything fresh and lightly floral. The base settles into black tea, ambroxan, olibanum and guaiac wood, a smooth and softly smoky tea and amber drydown that lasts for hours and gives the fragrance its refined, expensive feel.

On Fragrantica, Marwa is listed as a 2025 release for men, with fresh spicy, amber and citrus as its leading accords.

Longevity and Performance

Longevity is very good for a fresh fragrance: expect seven to nine hours on skin, with the cinnamon and ambroxan carrying the drydown well into the day. Sillage is moderate. It is noticeable in your personal space for the first two to three hours, then settles into a pleasant skin scent. A spray on clothing as well as skin helps the tea and amber base last longer.

Is Marwa for Summer or Winter?

Marwa is a warm weather fragrance first. Heat lifts the citrus and ginger, so it shines from spring to early autumn, on sunny days and at the office. The black tea, cinnamon and olibanum base gives it enough body for cool evenings, but in the depths of a Canadian winter it reads light. Wear it then if you like a clean, fresh scent under a coat, or keep it for the warmer months.

Who It's For and When to Wear It

Marwa leans fresh and versatile. It is ideal for daytime, the office and any occasion where you want to smell clean, bright and quietly expensive. It is mannerly enough for professional settings yet interesting enough for a summer evening out. If your taste runs to heavy oud or sweet gourmands, this will feel light by comparison, and that is exactly the point.

Is Marwa Worth It? Blind-Buy Verdict

Yes, and the risk is low. Citrus, tea and amber is one of the most universally likeable styles in perfumery, and Marwa executes it smoothly with no harsh edges. If you enjoy fresh fragrances at all, this is one of the safer blind buys in the Arabian perfume space.

One Mild Con

The citrus opening, while beautiful, burns off relatively quickly. Within the first hour you are mostly in the ginger, tea and amber phase, so the brightest part of the experience is short-lived.

Where to Buy Marwa in Canada

Shop Arabiyat Prestige Marwa Eau de Parfum 100ml at Sara Sakina. We ship across Canada and the USA and welcome you to try our perfumes in person at our Oakville Place boutique.

If Marwa is sold out when you visit, Safi, our own extrait de parfum, opens with the same three citrus notes (lemon, Calabrian bergamot and Sicilian orange). It then turns softer and sweeter, with a Mediterranean fruit accord, amber, Madagascar vanilla beans and white musk in place of tea and spice. A 5 ml tester lets you try it before the full bottle.

Marwa FAQ

What does Arabiyat Prestige Marwa smell like?

A bright blend of bergamot, lemon and orange over ginger, cinnamon and neroli, drying down to black tea, ambroxan and soft woods. It is fresh, clean and softly ambery, with a light smoky edge from the tea and olibanum.

What are the notes in Marwa?

Top notes of Calabrian bergamot, lemon and Sicilian orange; heart notes of Nigerian ginger, Ceylon cinnamon and Tunisian neroli; and base notes of Chinese black tea, ambroxan, olibanum and guaiac wood.

How long does Marwa last?

Around seven to nine hours on skin, with moderate projection for the first two to three hours before it settles close to the skin.

Is Marwa for summer or winter?

Summer first. It is at its best from spring to early autumn, and its tea and amber base keeps it wearable on cool evenings, though it feels light in deep winter.

Is Marwa a good perfume?

Yes. It is smooth from opening to drydown, performs well for a fresh scent, and is a low risk blind buy for anyone who enjoys fresh fragrances. The one mild con is that the bright citrus opening fades within the first hour, leaving the ginger, tea and amber.

Is Marwa unisex?

Yes in practice. Fragrantica lists it for men, but the bright citrus and tea profile wears beautifully on anyone.

Where can I buy Marwa in Canada?

Sara Sakina stocks Arabiyat Prestige Marwa online and at our Oakville Place boutique in Oakville, Ontario, with shipping across Canada and the USA. If it is sold out, Safi, our own extrait, shares its citrus opening.
