We carry seven Al Haramain items — four eaux de parfum and three bakhoors. The four bottles range from a three-note minimalist to a fourteen-note composition, and the prices run from under fifty dollars to well over a hundred. This guide sets out what is recorded against each.
Amber Oud Aqua Dubai — Eau de Parfum 100 ml
Profile: bergamot and mandarin orange over melon, pineapple, amber and black currant, on musk, vanilla, galbanum and petitgrain. Amber Spicy. Listed unisex, for daily wear.
Verdict: the flagship here and by some distance the most expensive item we carry from this house. A citrus opening into a fruit-and-amber heart, then an unusual base — galbanum and petitgrain are both green, sharp materials, which keeps a fragrance this sweet from turning heavy. Dubai — Eau de Parfum 100 ml
Profile: peach, pineapple, bergamot and orange over rose, jasmine, orris root and lime, on cedarwood, amber, mignonette and karo karoundé. Floral. Listed unisex, for daily wear.
Verdict: twelve notes and the most classically constructed of the four — a fruit-and-citrus opening, a proper floral heart with lime cutting through it, and a base that reaches for two genuinely uncommon materials in mignonette and karo karoundé. Currently out of stock. Al Haramain Dubai →
Shefon — Eau de Parfum
Profile: bergamot, lemon, rosemary, tamarind and spices over lily-of-the-valley, jasmine, rosewood, rose and orris root, on musk, cedar, amber and patchouli. Amber Spicy. Listed unisex, for daily wear.
Verdict: fourteen notes, with tamarind in the opening — a sour-fruit note that almost nothing else in our catalogue uses. A five-note citrus-and-herb opening, a five-note floral heart, and a conventional woody-musky base. Our record does not carry a bottle size for it. Currently out of stock. Al Haramain Shefon →
Affection — Eau de Parfum 100 ml
Profile: mango over plum, on white flowers. Fruity Gourmand. Listed unisex, for daily wear.
Verdict: the shortest record of any fragrance on this page — a single note at each stage. That is what our record holds, and we have not padded it out. Whether the bottle itself is that simple is a different question; if it matters to you, ask us and we will read the carton. Our record does not carry a size either, so the 100 ml comes from the title. Currently out of stock. Al Haramain Affection →
The three bakhoors
Abraaj Al Oudh Ma'al Attar — 50 g. Filed Woody, for home fragrance. No note pyramid is recorded, so none is printed. This is the one Al Haramain item on our shelf as this is written. In stock.
Incense Bakhoor — 50 g. Light spices and subtle citrus over warm woods, on musk, amber and resinous undertones. Filed under Floral, which does not match the notes recorded against it — go by the notes. Currently out of stock.
Al Halal Oudh Laosi — 50 g. Filed Woody Oriental (Oud), with no note pyramid on record. Currently out of stock.
All three sit at the same price. Abraaj Al Oudh → · Incense Bakhoor → · Al Halal Oudh Laosi →
Which Al Haramain should you buy?
The fullest and most expensive: Amber Oud Aqua Dubai. A classical fruity-floral at well under half that price: Dubai. Herbal and sour-fruited: Shefon. For burning at home: the Abraaj Al Oudh bakhoor, which is what we can actually put in your hands today.
Availability and performance
The Abraaj Al Oudh bakhoor is the one item on the shelf as this is written; everything else is between deliveries. We publish the whole range so you can see what we carry from this house and ask us to flag an item when it lands. No verified longevity or sillage figures are logged against any of these, so none are printed here.
Every note pyramid above is taken from the product record for the exact item we sell, along with its concentration, size and stated gender presentation. Where a record is thin or inconsistent, we have said so rather than filling the gap.
