Taskeen runs to three bottles at Paris Corner and they sit on a clear scale of sweetness: the original is a peach-and-cognac amber with a long resinous base, Caramel Cascade strips it down to caramel, milk and honey, and Wowie adds citrus and aldehydes over a buttery caramel. We carry all three. This guide compares them with the note pyramid recorded against each bottle.
Taskeen — Eau de Parfum 100 ml
Profile: peach, blood orange and cardamom over jasmine, cognac, davana and heliotrope, on vanilla, tonka bean, benzoin, sandalwood, cashmeran, patchouli and labdanum. Amber. Listed unisex, for evenings.
Verdict: the original and much the most structured — a seven-note base of resins and woods puts it in a different class from the two flankers, which are built for simple sweetness. Currently out of stock. Taskeen →
Taskeen Caramel Cascade — Eau de Parfum 100 ml
Profile: caramel and milk over tonka bean and honey, on vanilla and white musk. Musk. Listed unisex, for evenings.
Verdict: the simplest pyramid of the three and the most single-minded — six notes, all of them sweet or creamy. If you want a straightforward caramel, this is it, and it is the one we hold most of. In stock. Taskeen Caramel Cascade →
Taskeen Wowie — Eau de Parfum 100 ml
Profile: orange, mandarin and aldehydes over cinnamon, rum and orris, on caramel, butter and tonka bean. Sweet. Listed unisex, for spring and summer, casual and daily wear.
Verdict: the daytime one. Aldehydes and citrus lift the opening, cinnamon and rum give it a spiced middle, and the caramel only arrives in the base — which makes it the easiest of the three to wear in warm weather. It is also the only Taskeen listed for spring and summer rather than evenings. In stock. Taskeen Wowie →
Which Taskeen should you buy?
Most structured, for evenings: Taskeen. A straight caramel: Caramel Cascade. Daytime and warm weather: Wowie. All three are eau de parfum at 100 ml; Wowie is the most expensive.
Availability and performance
Caramel Cascade and Wowie are on the shelf as this is written; the original Taskeen is between deliveries. We list the full line rather than only what is in stock, so you can see what the range covers. No verified longevity figures in hours are logged against these bottles, so none are printed here.
Every note pyramid above is taken from the product record for the exact bottle we sell, along with its concentration, size and stated season.
