Oud Mood is Lattafa's rose-saffron-oud composition, and it comes in five forms at our shop. One of them, Reminiscence, is a genuinely different fragrance rather than a smaller bottle — nineteen notes against the original's twelve, with raspberry where the original has rose. The other three carry the original profile into an oil, a body spray and a lotion. This guide compares them with the note pyramid recorded against each one.

Oud Mood Reminiscence — Eau de Parfum
Profile: raspberry, orange and saffron over amber, bay leaves, geranium, chamomile, lavender, cardamom, caramel and nutmeg, on sandalwood, cedar, oakmoss, resins, vetiver, oud, vanilla and musk. Woody Oriental (Oud). Presented for men, all seasons, for evenings.
Verdict: the most heavily constructed fragrance on this page by a wide margin — an eight-note heart and an eight-note base. Saffron is the one thread it shares with the original opening; raspberry replaces the rose, and the oud drops all the way down into the base. Currently out of stock. Which Oud Mood should you buy?
First bottle, and the classic rose-saffron-oud: the eau de parfum. Something far denser and spicier, with raspberry rather than rose: Reminiscence. An oil rather than a spray: the 10 ml concentrated perfume oil. Layering under the spray: the lotion. The two eaux de parfum sit within a dollar of each other, so price will not decide this one for you — the pyramids will.
