Profile: green tangerine, fig, coconut water and melon over lotus, water lily and jasmine, on musk, ambroxan, sandalwood and vanilla. Fruity Gourmand. Presented for women, for daily wear.
Verdict: the longer and cooler of the two at eleven notes. Coconut water and melon up top and a lotus-and-water-lily heart make it read aquatic rather than sugary, and the fig gives it a green edge. Mayar Cherry Intense — Eau de Parfum 100 ml
Profile: strawberry and bergamot over cherry jam and cacao, on vanilla, amber and patchouli. Fruity. Presented for women, for daily wear.
Verdict: shorter, sweeter and much more direct — seven notes, with cherry jam and cacao sitting together in the heart and patchouli stopping the base from turning syrupy. Which Mayar should you buy?
Watery, green and built for warm weather: Natural Intense. Cherry, cacao and sweetness: Cherry Intense. Both sit at the same price and both are eau de parfum at 100 ml, so this is entirely a question of which direction you want. Note that neither is a step up in concentration from a base Mayar — Intense is part of each bottle's name rather than a strength grade, and we do not carry a plain Mayar alongside them.
