Ibraq White Musk (Special Musk) — Eau de Parfum 75 ml
Profile: musk, amber and birch flower over suede and lily, on rose and tonka bean. Musky floral. Listed unisex, and recorded for everyday wear, the office, after showering and layering.
Verdict: an inverted structure — musk leads rather than landing, and rose sits in the base where you would normally find it in the heart. Suede in the middle gives it a soft leathery texture rather than a sharp one. The occasion list tells you the intent: this is a skin scent for close quarters, not a projector. In stock. Ibraq Pomegranate Musk (Abaq) — Eau de Parfum 75 ml
Profile: bergamot, black currant and apple over cedarwood, patchouli and caramel, on musk, amber and pomegranate. Filed as a fruity musk with gourmand accents. Listed unisex, and recorded for everyday wear, the office, after showering and layering.
Verdict: the pomegranate sits in the base rather than the opening, which is unusual and is what keeps it from reading as a simple fruit fragrance — caramel and patchouli carry the middle, and the fruit arrives late. Ibraq Pink Diamond Sakura
Profile: peony, orange blossom and mandarin over rose, lily and cherry blossom, on sandalwood, white musk and amber. Woody.
Verdict: the most floral of the four and the most expensive thing we carry from this house — five flowers plus mandarin across the top and heart, landing on sandalwood and musk. Ibraq Musk Powder
Profile: jasmine, ylang-ylang and rose over cedarwood, orris and amber, on musk, vanilla, tonka bean and powder. Sweet Gourmand.

Which Ibraq should you buy?
Soft, suede-backed and available today: White Musk. Fruity with a late pomegranate: Pomegranate Musk. A full floral bouquet: Pink Diamond Sakura. Powder rather than spray: Musk Powder. All four are built on musk, so if musk is not what you want on skin, this is not the house to start with — and at these prices it is worth coming into the shop to try before committing.
